Studio Assistant Work Exchange

LeVue Studios is seeking a part-time intern who is looking for a photo studio to develop their craft in photography, or a space to develop their art. This position will allow you to use the studio to learn and create as you please.  The position requires you to have an interest in photography, and willingness to learn by assisting our studio photographer around the studio.  Tasks will vary but may include:

  • Printing Images

  • Shipping Items

  • Trimming and Matting

  • Assisting on Photo Sessions

  • Keeping Studio Tidy (Organizing Equipment, Folding Fabrics)

  • Various Store Runs (Frames, Paper, Ink)

  • Website updating, posting ads

  • Behind - The - Scenes

This position requires problem-solving skills and critical thinking to successfully create convenient workflows in every aspect of the space. Basic/intermediate  computer skills required.  High School Diploma or GED required.  Ability to lift up to 35 lbs required. General interest in photography/art is required. Scheduled flexibility is required.

Position is temp on a monthly basis, minimum 10 hours a week.

Bonus skills (but not required):

  • Photoshop knowledge

  • Drivers License

  • Video Knowledge (Shooting and Editing)
